Workshop: Ancient Grains and Herbs

Spend the morning making two different breads using traditional flours and grains. Learn about grains and why some are better than others.  While the bread is rising, take time to wander in the herb and edible gardens selecting herbs for enhancing your own cooking. Learn their meaning and why they make a difference, when to use them and how to preserve them both dried and in the freezer.  In addition to bread-making, make three kinds of herb butters and dips to use in your kitchen for entertaining and every day.  Learn.
