Nudie and The Turks started with a residency at the local bootleggers, and busking at the farmer’s market, and then got the idea to perform for fans waiting in line for a George Jones concert. They went down so well with audiences that when Willie Nelson came to town, the band followed the tour, busking across Canada, which earned them an invite to play Willie’s end-of-tour party.
