Classical Brunch: Henry Janzen String Quartet

Henry Janzen’s formative influences include Menahem Pressler and William Primrose at the Banff School of Fine Art coupled with advanced studies in New York City with Lillian Fuchs, Arianna Bronne, Raphael Bronstein and Nathan Gordon. He has appeared in performance across North America and Europe including Prague, Salzburg and Vienna. Over the last 30 years, Mr. Janzen has built up a wealth of experience teaching at Wayne State and Western Michigan Universities as well as Windsor and Western Ontario.

We are hosting this concert series under the guidance of Home Routes.  Home Routes Inc. (also known as Home Routes/Chemin Chez Nous) is a national non-profit arts organization incorporated in February 2007 to create new performance opportunities for Canadian musicians and audiences, in the homes of volunteer house concert presenters organized in touring circuits through rural and urban, French and English communities in Canada. South Pond is part of the Estelle Klein Tour throughout southern, Eastern Ontario and Quebec.
